Our Story
Hey! I’m Stephanie
From a combat MOS in Field Artillery in the Army to Mom of 3, Birth and Postpartum Doula, Childbirth Educator, Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga Instructor and your new best friend!
A little about me - I joined the Army over 8 years ago and I started getting my degree in physics, only to find out I didn’t love it. After being in the Army for only a year, I got pregnant with my daughter (who’s now 6). The pregnancy was full of genetic testing, constant bloodwork, one OB and one High Risk Specialist, and the entire time I thought about how much I felt the need to have someone by my side that would have educated me and helped me find my voice. After that moment, I knew working with other women as a doula was exactly what I needed to do; it was my calling.
I want you to know that your birth is sacred, your choices are valid, and you deserve to be heard and supported. You are the all-knowing being which holds the truth and all the answers for your current moment. I’m here to protect your space, validate your feelings, help you tune into what your spirit and mind is calling on you to do, and help you create that special bond with the life you’ve created inside of you. I’m here to nurture your physical body, connect you to your spiritual self, and remind you to allow yourself to feel your emotions. The waves of labor only bring you closer to the miracle happening inside you, waiting to come earth-side. Every birth is a testament to God’s miraculous work. My goal is to help you approach childbirth with confidence, drawing strength from your faith and the knowledge that you are beautifully designed for this journey. Together, we will celebrate the joy of new life and the blessings that come with it.
